  1. You're an idiot. Color is a problem? Never had my gas cap door break off (nor have I ever heard of it happening). Lack of keys for your roof rails is not a Hummer "problem". My chrome wheels are fine. You're probably using a pressure washer, which explains the rubber trim. "Most everybody" don't even have the roof lights, so it doesn't pertain to "most everybody". The only thing you list that is a common problem is the sunroof drains, and even then you only refer to the front drains, not the rear. Yup, you're an idiot, but of course all you're really fishing for is views, so…

  2. I clear the sunroof drains using thick monofilament line from a Weed Wacker. Then a small vacuum cleaner to suck the dirt out from the top. Do not blow compressed air into the top drain holes you will blow the tubing off. Lastly I use two small plastic zip ties to tightn the tubes to the nipples at the top under the ceiling padding.

  3. the mention of the sunroof grommet problem reminds me of a '71 vega I had. It was a station wagon body, and the drain for the quarter panel area was a flap setup. It constantly filled with crud, and the quarter panel will fill with enough water to overflow into the spare tire well. So GM and crappy drainage is a legacy fail.

  4. Hi there, im planning on getting my first car this time next year and i was getting insurance quotes and found the hummer h3 to be the cheapest car to insure for someone my age. I will be 18 when i buy it. Just wondering if you have any advice for me? Will this car last me a good 4 years? Maybe even 6?
