  1. Classic Game Room is now my favorite show on youtube, and you have a lot of
competitors. CGR never fails to make me laugh.

  2. In my opinion, this game shines in it’s new courses, much like Double Dash
did. Neo Bowser City, the one based off the original Mario Bros., The
sunken pirate ship level, the bazaar level, and the new Rainbow Road.
They’re all stellar! Really creative level design.

  3. The roster needed some tuning. Metal Mario isn’t even a real character and
is an obvious attempt to copy Metal Sonic, and the Honey Queen only played
a small part in Galaxy. They should replace Metal Mario with Waluigi and
the Honey Queen with Dry Bones. Then maybe add in Dark Mario from Galaxy
and 3D Land. Also, the lack of Quick Play in single player is extremely
disappointing. You can’t just pick your tracks like in DS. You have to play
Grand Prix or go online, which sucks balls.

  4. It’s Mario Kart 7 for the Nintendo 3DS (now with more hang gliding)!

  5. i disagree wit the downloadable content.
    dont do it nintendo.

  6. That blue shell has given me nightmares since I was a child.

  7. as much as i love mario kart, assassins creed games are better

  8. Actually this came out in 2011, and the game has been in a series, the
first game of the series came out in 1992.

  9. Again… This is the 7th game in the saga who started in 1992 for the
    SNES!!!

  10. and that will tend to become Super Smash Brothers Kart. Oh well… BTW any
idea as to the durability of the Flex Cables of the DS XL and 3DS XL?

  11. please note that more coins also upgrades your top speed during the race

  12. Well.. he does use a baseball bat and glove in the baseball games.

  13. I’d get the 3DS one because the Wii U isn’t do to hot right now…

  14. piece of shit 12 year old fanboy…. go fuck yourself and have a nice day 🙂

Similar or slightly worse than factory 1300mAh battery, June 18, 2011

I will clarify that I did not run a comprehensive series of comparative tests against the factory 3DS battery, which has the same 1300 mAH rating. It was fully charged and played under the same conditions as the factory battery until the battery indicator turned red and the 3DS shut down.

It may have been because I was expecting slightly better results than the factory battery, but the play time on the aftermarket battery was about the same, perhaps slightly worse than the factory battery under normal playing conditions.

Reference the product photo; it is listed as 1800 mAH, but the Yahoo product description properly lists it as 1300 mAH. The packaging of the actual battery received was different than the photo and is correctly labeled as 1300 mAH in white text.

On a related note, the 3DS appears to use the battery to store date and time information, meaning, every time the battery is removed (requiring 4 screws, hence the included miniature screwdriver), it will reset the system date and time, requiring the user to manually re-input the correct date/time. This mild inconvenience (along with the 4 screw cover) makes this not the best solution for those who want multiple batteries on the go to compensate for the relatively short play time of the factory battery.

Fits fine, battery life sucks, March 28, 2013

I read the reviews and was very close to not buying it because of a lot of negative feedback, but I gave it a chance because of the price and free shipping (with prime).

The installation was a breeze. The included screwdriver made it easy and the battery fit in perfectly unlike some of the other reviews. It’s literally a perfect fit.

Battery life however really is bad. It doesn’t even hold a 24 hour charge on standby. It’s on par with the battery I threw in the trash (my 2+ year old Nintendo battery).

So, now I get to pay $15 plus shipping for the Nintendo rand battery and solve my woes once and for all. Hope this review saves you time and money.

Works perfectly – got it to replace the original battery pack which was having some issues. Slightly big – I felt like I had to force it into the slot a bit.
