  1. Eek! What a beautiful cover! I actually gasped. Speaking of Locke Lamora, after hearing you gush so much about it, I started reading it! I didn't get too far in it, but from what I read, it was awesome. I ended up dropping it, but that was only because Crooked Kingdom came out and like I just… you know. Also, I don't think I want to read adult fantasy yet. I'm just too invested in YA at this point. But, anyway, I can see a lot of ways Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom are influenced by Locke Lamora (like the setting and characters and stuff), intentional or not, idk. But, yeah. Great video! Everfair sounds soo cool. AND SHARDS OF HEAVEN. I am such a Latin nerd so I'll definitely be picking that one up.

  2. Have you read
    Am I normal yet?
    how hard can love be
    what a girl gotta do.

and what is your opinion on them (if you read them)

  3. Everfair sounds so interesting! I live in the south of the Netherlands, so a lot of my univerity lecturers are actually from Belgium, and colonialism is still a really big deal over there (it is in the Netherlands too, but the Dutch try to pretend that it isn't).

  4. YESSS do a readalong of The Three Body Problem! I really want to read it but I've never read a heavy sci-fi book before so a readalong would be perfect 🙂

  5. I was in Jr high when The Outsiders came out, plus I lived in Oklahoma as a little kid. I really want that copy….but when isn't SE Hinton problematic? She doesn't give a shit about what anyone thinks about anything, she can't be diplomatic. She even still has a problem with fanfiction. I hate to say it, but she's a dinosaur. All she cares about is stalking the Supernatural filming locations. I mean, it's embarrassing.

  6. I heard the mixed reviews on WicDiv Vol. 3 as well. The changes in art was a little jarring at times, but I think in the end it actually kind of worked since each issue focused on a different character.

Also, Zodiac Starforce <3 I need more.

  7. Don't know if you've seen this one yet, but Beyond the Woods is an adult scifi anthology of fairy tale retellings that are dark and lovely. I'm only a third of the way through, but it has some great retellings! Also, doesn't hurt that the cover is so pretty!
